45 days.

today is a great day. i woke up early and went to the gym with my good friend marina at 8 this morning. what a nice feeling to kick the day off with a decent sweat! we hit the gym every monday, tuesday, and wednesday mornings at 8, so if anyone needs or wants some workout buddies, feel free to join!! i love working out, and the more the merrier.

after the gym, i got to spend a couple hours with my mom - coloring and cutting her hair at the salon. we window shopped a little bit when we were done. my mom is such a funny lady, i love her a lot. we have fun talking and laughing and making fun of people.

later, jeff came over and we just sat around and talked. then he drove me to provo to get my new flat iron - how sweet! jeff took me to his mom's grave (she passed away 3 years ago when jeff was on his mission), which i'd never been to. it was neat to see and to talk to him about his mom. he loved her so much, i wish i could've met her. she sounds like she was a wonderful woman - she did a great job raising her boy! in 45 days i'll be marrying my favorite person in the whole world. i am so so SO happy. he is the best guy ever. we went to visit grammie - jeff's great-grandma. she is an 84-year old woman and so independent and cute! she calls jeff "sug" (which is short for "sugar") and it is the most adorable thing! she would grab my hand and rub my arm and asked if i wanted to see jeff's mom's wedding pictures. she brought an old album upstairs and went through the pictures with me. jeff's mom was so beautiful! grammie went downstairs and came back with two steak-plates in the shape of leaves for us to use in our apartment once we're married. we sat on the couch and talked, drinking apple juice out of pre-school sized plastic bottles and grammie insisted i drink mine with a straw.
