has anyone read the book the last song by nicholas sparks? has anyone seen the movie? is it good? will i cry (i can already answer this one)? is it a waste of time? but the main thing is, how is miley cyrus? did she make you want to rip your eyes out, or did you decide you're going give your relationship with billy ray's daughter a shot? i'm afraid it might happen to me...even though they say it's "sparks' best yet...better than the notebook," i just have this problem with her. is there anybody who bothers you and you kind of know why (disney channel girls, that tooth....), but the bottom line is you just don't like them "JUST BECAUSE"? i was ashamed when i found out my running song "party in the u.s.a." was miley (don't worry, i still love it and know all the words.) the best thing about her is that her dad sang "achey breaky heart" and we'd dance and ride stick horses to it in front of the music video on the vhs tape over and over. that's about it.
i've got 2 coworkers who have bullied me into reading the last song because they want me to see the movie with them after we all finish the book - one of them read the book and "it's SO good" so i am only allowed to see it after i finish reading it (i discovered they both saw the movie without telling me. and the one never even finished reading it herself because she "couldn't help it - don't be mad..."). they both know i have a few issues with miley cyrus but they say "you'll love her." i try picturing the main character as some girl made up in my head, like a regular book's character would be. the problem is that i already knew miley cyrus was ronnie, the main character. so i am having a hard time reading this book and feeling bad for ronnie and relating myself to ronnie, because i know ronnie is really...miley. she's even on the cover of the book, reminding me.
i'm having a hard time getting into it. and even though they both already saw the movie and i haven't but i agreed (was forced) to read the book and see the movie, they're going to wait and go again with me. thanks, miley. i hope this blossoms into something more for us.
