auld lang syne

out with the old, in with the new - thanks, 2009... and hello 2010!

happy new year!

2009 was a great year and a lot of fun, but we are ready to move on with 2010 and can't wait to see what the next year has in store for us individually and as a couple/family. we have been very blessed and aren't unaware of it. hopefully this next year will bring us just as many good times. jeff's new year's resolution is to stop drinking soda. i don't have one yet, and i really don't know what it should be... anybody have some good resolutions?

dear winter,

i'm fed up already and it hasn't even been christmas yet. you're causing a lot of problems and i've about had it.

i'm sick and tired of feeling like this all the time.


cleaning off and defrosting my car sure sucks. what a pain to have to start the engine ten minutes before i have to go somewhere (if i'm lucky enough to even get my car out of the snow).

it doesn't feel good when i slip, and i'm not alway lucky enough to catch myself...

shoveling is an activity that doesn't get any better the more you do it. same goes for throwing down some rock salt. come on. you're ruining all my shoes.

the truth is, the only ones who like you are the skiiers and boarders - but they only like you on the slopes. so do us all a favor and go away. nobody likes you.
