1#uno. i do this thing jeff calls my "happy dance". when i'm excited or really happy i do this limp rag doll sort of movement where i wiggle and collapse my body or sometimes bounce up and down, without taking my feet off the ground...if i'm really excited i may ask for a piggy back ride, this is uncommon.
2#dos. lots of you know i have ocd,i actually take medication for it. but i MUST have the closet doors shut before i go to bed. i can't sleep with them open. i think this stems from when i was little and was terrified of e.t. (i don't know as if anything's changed), but i would always be afraid to see him sitting on the shelf at the top of my closet, so i always made sure the doors were shut. now i make jeff get out of bed to shut them because he's closest.
3#trec. when i go to bed i have to have socks on (even in the summer) and i have to have the covers pulled all the way up to my face, like on my chin. however, i cannot be "tucked in" and there has to be a little bit of give in the blankets when i want to move or i get claustrophobic and freak some. i don't like to be too close when cuddling either because i move a lot and get very uncomfortable and claustrophobic as well.
4#quatro. when eating candies that come in a variety of colors, such as M&M's, it's really unsettling when i draw out say, 4 pieces and 3 of them are blue and one is brown. i get mad (with all colors) because the blues are outnumbering the brown and it's not symmetrical. they need to be even or at least make a pattern, like 2 greens and one yellow so the yellow can be inbetween and have symmetry on either side of it. sometimes it bothers me so much that i will go back and pick out the colors i want, for peace of mind.
5#cinco. before even grabbing my towel to get out of the shower, i have to first "dust off" if you will, the excess water from my body. i brush it off so that i am not drying off from being sopping wet. i like to get as much water off of me and out of my hair before using the towel. and when i use the towel, i stand in the shower and dry everywhere before getting out, because i hate putting clothes on a wet body and feeling like they're stuck to me - claustrophobic again.
6#seis. i need my arm tickled while i fall asleep because it makes me fall asleep faster, and when jeff tickles my arm it means i'm asleep first. this is good because jeff snores very loudly and almost in a frightening way. almost like he's going to choke to death any minute. if i'm asleep first i don't have to listen to him with eyes wide open all night.

No way! I totally do the same thing with M&M's/Skittles/etc. Except I have to have an even number of every color so that I can put the same quantity of each color in each side of my mouth to chew. And I fully relate to the closet door thing, except I do it with the door to the room and to the house. I have to check several times before going to bed to make EXTRA sure they are locked and shut tight.

Allie! You are so funny, isn't it weird how many things we do to make this life so much harder for ourselves? Ha! I swear Spencer doesn't have any weird little things about him so he would always be telling me to relax, but as you know this is impossible, but! Spencer is deathly afraid of E.T. also, even as a 24 year old man he would hide the VHS so he didn't even have to see the movie cover, he still has nightmares to this day!

Great time seeing you over the Christmas holiday. Thanks for cutting Tommy & Kenna's hair, you did a fabulous job! Love the quirk list. I am with you on the ET thing. That movie was a little unsettling as a kid.
